Taste Profile

Deep red color with violet tints. Intensely aromatic and complex character reminiscent of raspberries, wild cherries and rosemary. Medium bodied wine with a pleasant acidity, discrete presence of tannins and long lasting aftertaste.

Vinification

Selection of grapes from 17 yo Agiorgitiko vines from the Boutari vineyard in Nemea. Hand picking at full maturity on the coolest times of the day, chillling of incoming grapes, followed by hand sorting in the winery. Low intervention red vinification scheme in order to promote terroir driven varietal aromas. Alcoholic fermentation in open top fermentors with manual punch downs 2-3 times per day followed by malolactic fermentation, short maturation in stainless steel tanks, gentle filtering and bottling. gentle filtering and bottling.
